CHURCH OF THE ADDOLORATA

15th century

La costruzione risale al XV secolo. La facciata è caratterizzata da un portico sopra il quale, addossate al muro, sono presenti due eleganti finestre cinquecentesche in pietra. Rileva, nel soffitto interamente decorato, la pittura raffigurante “la Vergine Addolorata circondata da Santi”. Sull’abside, si erge un altare in legno dorato, sovrastato da un tempietto che custodisce la statua della Madonna Addolorata.

The construction dates back to the 15th century. The facade is characterized by a portico where there are two elegant sixteenth-century stone windows. The ceiling is enterely decorated the painting represents “the Vergine Addolorata surrounded by Saints”. On the apse there is an altar in gilded wood surmounted by a small templethatholds the statue of the Madonna Addolorata.
